Azerbaijan remains committed to further strengthening its partnership with the European Union (EU), Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated. The announcement followed a meeting between the minister and Kaya Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov shared details of the meeting on his X account, describing the discussions as productive. "We remain committed to further strengthening our partnership with the European Union through practical and result-oriented cooperation," the minister noted.
Relations between Azerbaijan and the EU have seen significant development in recent years, particularly in the fields of energy security, trade, and regional connectivity. Azerbaijan plays a crucial role as a strategic energy partner for Europe, notably through the Southern Gas Corridor. This meeting underscores Baku's multi-vector foreign policy and its ongoing efforts to foster stability and economic integration within the South Caucasus region.
