Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has stated that Russia's responses to strikes launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian territory have become systematic in nature.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Peskov made these remarks while answering questions from journalists ahead of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Commenting on how Moscow intends to respond to the drone attack on St. Petersburg, Peskov noted: "I would like to recall the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that our responses will be systematic. In fact, they are already so."
The Russian side continues to emphasize that retaliatory measures against attacks carried out by Ukraine are ongoing. Official Kyiv has not yet provided a response to these statements.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, where these comments were made, is one of Russia's most significant annual business events, often serving as a platform for high-level officials to outline the country's domestic and foreign policy stances.
