CENTCOM İranın blokadası haqqında yeni məlumat yaydı

The US Navy is actively continuing its blockade of Iranian ports and the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz to monitor maritime traffic in the region.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) released this information via its official X account. "US military forces continue to monitor and patrol regional waters to support the blockade of vessels entering or exiting Iranian ports," the official statement noted.

The current military operations persist despite earlier remarks by US President Donald Trump, who suggested a permanent opening of the Strait of Hormuz to maintain relations with China. However, these statements have not yet received official confirmation or resulted in a change of operational status on the ground.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world's most critical chokepoints for global energy supplies, with approximately one-fifth of the world's total oil consumption passing through the waterway daily. Maintaining security and oversight in these regional waters is considered a priority for international maritime stability and global energy markets. The ongoing presence of US naval assets in the area serves as a strategic deterrent and ensures the enforcement of current maritime policies in the Middle East.
