Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads across Baku, causing delays for motorists during peak travel times.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.
As of the latest report, traffic density is being observed at the following locations:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue, main road, in the direction of the city center;
- Ali Mustafayev Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 8 Noyabr Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the city center.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) regularly monitors traffic flow in Baku to optimize urban mobility. These updates are crucial for commuters, as the city's infrastructure continues to undergo modernization to accommodate the growing number of vehicles in the capital of Azerbaijan. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider alternative roads to avoid delays.
