Traffic congestion is currently being observed on several major roads and avenues in Baku.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Intellectual Transport Management Center (NIIM) has released data regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.
The current status of the roads is as follows:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
- Mikayil Mushfiq Street, from the "Badamdar" circle towards school-lyceum No. 20;
- Ali Mustafayev Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 January" metro station towards the city center;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue, main road, towards the city center;
- Heydar Aliyev Avenue, secondary road, towards the city center;
- Rashid Behbudov Street, in the direction of the Central Bank;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Muzaffar Narimanov Street towards the "20 January" metro station;
- 8 November Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the city center;
- Binagadi highway, in the direction of the "Azadliq Avenue" metro station;
- 28 May Street, from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street;
- Khatai Avenue, in the direction of Heydar Aliyev Avenue;
- 1st Gol Kenari road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadliq Avenue;
- Abdulvahab Salamzade Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- Airport highway, in the direction of the "Koroghlu" metro station.
