The movement patterns of six regular bus routes in Baku have been temporarily modified due to traffic restrictions on the road leading from the Water Sports Palace toward the Bibiheybeyt settlement in the Sabail district. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the changes affect the flow of traffic along Denizkenari Street.
The Azerbaijan Yerüstü Nəqliyyat Agentliyi (AYNA), operating under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that the routes for buses 72, 120A, 125, 149, 205, and E1 have been rerouted. Under the new temporary scheme, these buses will now operate via the "20th Area" circle and Shafag Street to ensure the continuity of public transport services.
The Sabail district is a key administrative and historical hub in Baku, housing significant infrastructure and coastal landmarks. These temporary traffic adjustments are part of ongoing efforts to manage urban mobility and infrastructure maintenance in the capital. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and consider the updated stops along the modified routes to avoid delays in their commute through the southern part of the city.
