The spring break schedule for preschool and primary school students in Baku has been changed in connection with the upcoming 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
The Ministry of Science and Education provided this information to the Operative Information Center-OMM. According to the official order, the break for preschool groups and primary classes in general education institutions will now take place from May 18 to May 22, replacing the previously scheduled dates of May 1-5.
The World Urban Forum (WUF) is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization, established by the United Nations to examine the most pressing issues of rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, and economies. Hosting WUF13 in Baku underscores Azerbaijan's growing status as a major international hub for global dialogue and its commitment to sustainable urban development. The rescheduling of the academic calendar in the capital is intended to facilitate the efficient organization and logistics of the large-scale international event.
