The price of one barrel of Azerbaijan’s Azeri Light crude rose by $4.51, or 3.71%, to $125.94 on the global market.
A source in the oil market told the Operative Information Center-OMM.
According to trading results, the price of November futures for Brent crude stood at $125.52 per barrel.
Azeri Light is Azerbaijan’s flagship crude export grade and is traded on international markets alongside other benchmark-linked oils. Changes in global oil prices can affect Azerbaijan’s export revenues, budget receipts and the broader energy sector, although the actual impact also depends on production volumes and market conditions.
