Azerbaijani experts are participating in the "Yerevan Dialogue – 2026" international conference currently being held in the Armenian capital. The delegation includes prominent political analysts Farhad Mammadov, Rusif Huseynov, and Zaur Shiriyev, who are engaging in discussions regarding regional dynamics and cooperation.
According to reports from Armenian media cited by the Operative Information Center-OMM, the experts are representing the "Peace Bridge" initiative. This project is specifically designed to foster interaction and dialogue between representatives of civil society from both Azerbaijan and Armenia, aiming to build trust and explore avenues for sustainable peace in the South Caucasus.
The participation of Azerbaijani analysts in events held in Yerevan marks a significant step in track-two diplomacy between the two nations. Following the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and the conclusion of the conflict in Garabagh, such civil society initiatives have become increasingly relevant. These dialogues often focus on unblocking regional transport communications and establishing long-term stability in accordance with the principles of international law and mutual recognition of sovereignty.
