A total of 10 wagons carrying Russian agricultural products, including 272 tons of fertilizer and 420 tons of grain, have been dispatched from the Bilajari station in Azerbaijan to Armenia. The transit operation is being facilitated by "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC as part of ongoing regional logistics processes.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC, the shipment consists of four wagons of fertilizer and six wagons of grain. The cargo was scheduled to depart from the Bilajari station in Baku at 11:00 local time. This follows an earlier report of a similar transit involving four wagons of each commodity, marking a continuation of the transport of Russian-made agricultural goods through the territory of Azerbaijan.

The use of Azerbaijan's railway infrastructure for the transit of goods to Armenia highlights the potential for regional transport connectivity in the South Caucasus. Following the restoration of its territorial integrity, Azerbaijan has consistently advocated for the opening of regional transport links and the establishment of efficient logistics corridors. Such transit operations are viewed as practical steps toward utilizing the country's strategic location to enhance economic cooperation and regional stability through integrated transport networks.
