Unstable weather conditions are expected across Azerbaijan on June 7, with forecasts indicating periods of heavy rainfall, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will be characterized by intermittent rain, with potential for localized intensification and thunderstorms. While daytime conditions are expected to be variably cloudy and mostly dry, a moderate northwest wind will prevail. Temperatures in the capital are forecast to range between 16-19°C at night and 22-27°C during the day, with atmospheric pressure at 761 mm Hg.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is expected in various areas. Forecasters have warned of short-term intensification, thunderstorms, and the possibility of hail. In high-mountainous areas, precipitation may turn into sleet, with an increase in intensity expected overnight. Fog is anticipated in some areas during the night and morning hours, accompanied by gusty easterly winds. Temperatures in the regions are expected to reach 15-20°C at night and 23-28°C during the day, while mountainous regions will see cooler conditions ranging from 5-10°C at night to 13-18°C during the day.

The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these atmospheric shifts to provide timely warnings for the public, particularly for those in agricultural and mountainous regions where sudden weather changes can impact daily operations and safety.
