Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan have reached an agreement to increase the authorized capital of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund to $200 million.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev announced this decision during a joint press statement with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.

"Today, we agreed to double the financial capacity of the joint Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Investment Fund to $200 million. I am confident that this is not the final limit, as the presentations provided to us regarding the fund's activities demonstrate that it is being filled with concrete substance," President Ilham Aliyev stated.

The Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund serves as a key instrument for deepening bilateral economic ties. Established to support joint investment projects, the fund facilitates cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, energy, and infrastructure. By increasing its capital, both nations aim to stimulate private sector growth and enhance trade turnover, reflecting the strengthening strategic partnership between Baku and Bishkek.
