The joint tactical special exercises titled "Caucasian Eagle - 2026," involving special forces units from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey, have concluded at the Muxrovani military base near Tbilisi.

The closing ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials from the participating nations. Speakers congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the drills, expressing satisfaction with the coordinated activities and high level of professionalism demonstrated by the special forces units of all three countries.
Officials emphasized that the exercises are of particular importance for strengthening regional cooperation in the fields of security and defense, as well as for enhancing the combat readiness of the participating units.
During the drills, the special forces executed various complex tasks, including raids on simulated targets, building clearance operations in sub-groups, engineering demolition tasks, helicopter-borne troop insertions, and the neutralization of simulated enemy forces. High-ranking officers from the participating countries observed the exercises, praised the performance of the special forces, and wished the personnel success in their future service.
The "Caucasian Eagle" series of exercises serves as a cornerstone of the trilateral military partnership between Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey. These drills are designed to foster interoperability among the special operations forces of the three nations, ensuring they are prepared to address common regional security challenges and maintain stability in the South Caucasus.
