Azerbaijan and Armenia have exchanged lists of goods intended for mutual supply, and the positions of business representatives are currently awaited to move the process forward.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Armenian media, this was stated by the country's Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan during a briefing. The minister noted that while some Azerbaijani-produced gasoline and diesel fuel are already present in the Armenian market, Armenian products are not yet represented in the Azerbaijani market.

According to Papoyan, the parties have discussed and exchanged product lists for mutual trade. "We understand that markets must be open for both sides – the Armenian market for Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani market for Armenia. This process requires time and is developing gradually," he said. The minister emphasized that most of the necessary conditions for mutual supplies have already been established, though the lack of full logistical coordination and certain other technical issues remain to be resolved.

He added that work in this direction is ongoing, and if necessary, existing transport routes and communication channels for the transit of goods through Armenian territory are already open. "The state creates conditions through existing highways, railways, and other means of transport in accordance with current regulations. The goal is to determine which products can be mutually realized in the markets. Considering that such mechanisms did not exist two years ago, I assess the work done positively," Papoyan stated.

This development comes amid ongoing efforts to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia following the restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty over its entire territory. The opening of regional transport communications and the establishment of economic ties are seen as crucial components of the broader peace process in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan has consistently advocated for the reintegration of regional infrastructure, which is expected to transform the region into a significant logistical hub between Europe and Asia.
