Azerbaijan is expected to experience mostly dry weather conditions on January 25, according to the latest forecast. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has released the official outlook for the upcoming day.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather will be changeably cloudy and occasionally gloomy, but primarily rainless. Light fog and slight drizzle may occur in some areas during the morning hours. A north-west wind is expected to prevail throughout the day. Temperatures in the capital will range from 1–4°C at night to 5–8°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 763 mm to 766 mm Hg, with relative humidity staying between 70–80 percent.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is also projected to be mostly dry, though fog may be observed in various locations. A moderate west wind will blow across the country. Regional temperatures are forecast to be between 3°C frost and 2°C heat at night, reaching 6–10°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will drop to 5–10°C frost at night, with daytime temperatures ranging from 3°C frost to 2°C heat. Due to the freezing temperatures, icy road conditions are likely in some mountainous and foothill districts during the night and morning hours.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide timely updates for the public and relevant state agencies. Such forecasts are critical for transport safety and agricultural planning, particularly during the winter months when temperature fluctuations can lead to icing on major highways connecting Baku with the western and northern regions of the Republic.
