During the telephone conversation, the sides expressed concern over the tensions arising in the Middle East region. The discussion also touched upon Azerbaijan-Syria bilateral relations. Both parties expressed interest in strengthening ties and expanding cooperation across various sectors. An agreement was reached to continue high-level contacts to explore further strategic partnership opportunities between the two nations.
