The number of US military personnel wounded during operations against Iran has reached 624, according to recent reports. The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this data has been released following updated disclosures from international media outlets.

The Pentagon has begun publishing detailed statistical data regarding both fatalities and injuries, covering the period of heightened tensions that began on July 7, as well as the broader conflict period dating back to February 28. According to the latest Pentagon figures, 207 US service members have been wounded since July 7, bringing the total number of wounded personnel since the start of the conflict to 624.

Furthermore, reporting by the Associated Press indicates that the names of four US service members previously listed as killed in the conflict with Iran have been reclassified into a separate category, altering the official casualty list. Prior to this adjustment, the Pentagon's official website had reported 18 US military fatalities in the conflict.

These figures reflect the ongoing security challenges and the complex nature of military engagements in the region. The US military maintains a significant presence in the Middle East, where it conducts various operations aimed at protecting national interests and supporting regional allies. The Pentagon's transparency regarding casualty statistics is part of its broader communication strategy during active military engagements.
