The United States has released updated figures regarding military casualties during ongoing operations against Iran, reporting at least 415 personnel wounded and 13 fatalities since February 28.

The Pentagon provided the data, as reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, detailing the impact on various branches of the military. According to the report, the wounded include 271 army personnel, 63 sailors, 19 marines, and 62 members of the Air Force. General Dan Kane, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, previously stated that the majority of these injuries were sustained during strikes carried out by Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). It was further noted that a significant portion of the injured service members has already returned to active duty.

Regarding the fatalities, the Pentagon confirmed that 13 American service members have died during the operations and related incidents. Six of these deaths were recorded in Kuwait and one in Saudi Arabia, while the remaining casualties occurred following the crash of a US tanker aircraft. These figures highlight the ongoing risks faced by American forces stationed in the region as they respond to various security challenges and aerial threats.

These developments come amid a period of heightened regional tensions and the strategic repositioning of US forces in the Middle East. Under the leadership of US President Donald Trump, Washington has maintained a firm stance on regional security, emphasizing the protection of international interests and the deterrence of drone-based warfare. The Pentagon continues to monitor the situation closely, ensuring that personnel in the field are equipped to counter evolving tactical threats while maintaining operational readiness across key bases in the Gulf region.
