According to Operative Information Center-OMM, these figures were announced during a closing press conference by Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan and National Coordinator for WUF13. The World Urban Forum, established by the United Nations, is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization. As Azerbaijan prepares to host the 13th session (WUF13) in Baku, the event serves as a critical platform for policymakers, urban planners, and civil society to share innovative solutions. The forum's focus remains on creating inclusive, resilient, and sustainable cities, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
