The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, who is on an official visit to the Slovak Republic, participated in the International Defence Exhibition Bratislava (IDEB) defense and security conference and exhibition.
The Ministry of Defense informed Operative Information Center-OMM that after familiarizing himself with the defense industry products presented at the exhibition, the Minister observed demonstrations of "Robot-enhanced explosive device neutralization" and attacks on wheeled and tracked vehicles using "Patron FPV" unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
As part of the visit, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov also held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, Mr. Jaromir Zuna. During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for the development of mutual cooperation between the two countries in the military and military-technical spheres.
The IDEB exhibition in Bratislava serves as a major platform for Central European defense technology, showcasing the latest innovations in land and air defense systems. Azerbaijan's participation in such international forums underscores its commitment to modernizing its military capabilities and strengthening bilateral security ties with European partners. These high-level meetings in Slovakia are part of Azerbaijan's broader strategy to diversify its defense procurement and enhance technical expertise through international collaboration.
