Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense have conducted inspections at military units of the Combined Arms Army stationed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The visit focused on evaluating the organization of service and combat activities, as well as the social and living conditions provided for military personnel.

During the visit, the Minister engaged with personnel serving at combat positions, inquiring about their welfare and service conditions. It was noted that, thanks to the attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, all necessary infrastructure has been established in military units to improve the social and living standards of the personnel. Comprehensive measures have been implemented to maintain the combat capability of the units at a high level and to ensure the continuous and secure organization of combat duty.
The Ministry highlighted that engineering and fortification structures capable of withstanding artillery strikes and drone threats have been constructed at the combat positions of the military units. Furthermore, during a visit to the training range, the leadership was briefed on the facilities designed to conduct training and exercises in conditions closely resembling real combat scenarios, as outlined in the combat readiness plans.
