The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and other high-ranking officials have inspected the progress of live-fire tactical exercises held at a military unit, the ministry told Operative Information Center-OMM.
According to the ministry, Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov was briefed on a map regarding the theme, stages, and sequence of the exercises. The drills, conducted in accordance with the training plan for the current year, incorporate modern combat methods. The primary objective of the tactical training, aligned with the new operational concept, is to enhance the agile decision-making capabilities of commanders, ensure effective unit management under mutual coordination, and improve the theoretical and practical skills of personnel.
Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov and the ministry leadership highly praised the tactical activities of the units and the combat readiness of the personnel. These exercises are part of Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to modernize its armed forces and integrate advanced military doctrines following the restoration of territorial integrity.
