A statement from the US Embassy emphasized that the United States remains dedicated to cooperating with Yemen in countering what it described as "Iranian-backed Houthi aggression."

While US President Donald Trump recently indicated that Washington is engaged in "partial negotiations" with Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has denied the existence of direct talks. Furthermore, Araghchi stated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until Tehran's conditions are met. This closure has sparked concerns in global energy markets, with Brent crude prices rising by 1.09 percent to $84.46.
