The "Urban Expo zone" for the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku will cover an expansive area of 3.5 hectares. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, this information was presented as President Ilham Aliyev reviewed the ongoing preparations at the Baku Olympic Stadium site.

The exhibition area is designed to accommodate a diverse range of participants, including national pavilions, international organizations, government agencies, local and regional authorities, the private sector, non-governmental organizations, foundations, and academic and research institutions. In total, 121 pavilions are planned for the event, including 41 dedicated country pavilions representing nations from across the globe.

WUF13 is scheduled to take place in Baku from May 17 to 22. The forum is organized through close cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat). It serves as a premier international platform focused on exchanging global expertise in sustainable urban development, the implementation of "smart cities," and innovative urban solutions. This hosting reflects Azerbaijan's growing role in global urban policy and its commitment to the UN's New Urban Agenda, following the country's successful track record of hosting high-level international summits and its focus on the sustainable reconstruction of liberated territories in Garabagh and East Zangezur.
