At least 11 people have died following the collapse of a three-story residential building in Lahore, Pakistan. The incident, which occurred due to reasons currently under investigation, prompted an immediate emergency response.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, rescue and medical teams were swiftly dispatched to the scene to conduct large-scale search and rescue operations. Authorities confirmed that all 11 fatalities belonged to the same family. Additionally, six individuals were pulled from the rubble with varying degrees of injuries and have been transported to local hospitals for urgent medical treatment.

Building collapses are a recurring concern in major Pakistani cities like Lahore, often attributed to aging infrastructure, poor construction standards, and the lack of rigorous enforcement of building codes. Authorities have launched a formal investigation to determine the specific cause of this structural failure, as local officials assess the safety of surrounding properties in the densely populated area.
