Naxçıvanda yol nişanları yenilənir

Road signs are being renewed across the streets and avenues of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to enhance road safety in the region.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, inspections were carried out to identify road signs that do not meet modern standards, are in poor condition, or have expired service lives.

Based on the monitoring results, it was deemed necessary to replace these signs with modern alternatives. Currently, the replacement process is underway in Nakhchivan, with 650 road signs already renewed in the initial phase of the project.

This initiative is part of broader infrastructure modernization efforts in Nakhchivan, an exclave of Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency continues to implement systematic measures to improve transport infrastructure, optimize traffic flow, and ensure pedestrian and driver safety throughout Azerbaijan.
