Two young men were stabbed in the city of Bilasuvar, with one victim reported to be in critical condition following the incident.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the victims have been identified as Bilasuvar residents Kenan Ramil oglu Rahimli, born in 2003, and Tarlan Niyamaddin oglu Shahbazov, born in 2006. Both individuals were immediately hospitalized at the Bilasuvar District Central Hospital. Rahimli, who sustained a severe knife wound to the throat, was placed in the intensive care unit and underwent emergency surgery.
Law enforcement officers were deployed to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. In Azerbaijan, such incidents are strictly investigated under the criminal code, and local police are currently working to identify potential suspects and the motive behind the altercation. The Bilasuvar District Central Hospital continues to monitor the condition of the injured, while a formal investigation into the fact is ongoing.
