Significant traffic congestion has been reported on several key roads in Baku, causing delays for commuters across the capital.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current road conditions.
As of the latest report, traffic density is being observed in the following areas:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 January" metro station towards the city center;
- 1st Lake Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors traffic flow across the capital to optimize transit efficiency. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider alternative roads where possible to avoid the current bottlenecks, which are common during peak commuting hours in the rapidly developing metropolis of Baku.
