On August 12, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be variably cloudy and mostly dry. However, meteorologists forecast that rain may occur in some areas during the day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorology Service has issued an update regarding the upcoming weather conditions. A moderate north-west wind is expected to blow throughout the day.
Temperatures in the capital are projected to range between 22-25°C at night and 28-33°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 758 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 70-75% at night and 45-50% during the day.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is expected in several areas. Forecasters warn of potential intense, downpour-style rain, accompanied by lightning and hail, particularly in mountainous and foothill regions where precipitation is likely to intensify. Fog may occur in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, with an eastern wind prevailing.
Temperatures in the regions are expected to reach 22-26°C at night and 32-37°C during the day. In mountainous areas, the temperature will range from 14-18°C at night to 20-25°C during the day.
