The State Social Protection Fund, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, has completed the payment of all benefits, scholarships, and targeted state social assistance for February.
According to official information provided to Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry, the Fund has successfully finalized all social payments scheduled for this month. Citizens are now able to withdraw these funds from their respective bank accounts immediately.
It should be noted that earlier, on February 13, payments were executed for residents of Baku, Sumgait, the Absheron district, and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Subsequently, on February 20, the Fund transferred February pensions for individuals living in other regions of Azerbaijan, as well as for those receiving pensions on preferential terms.
The timely distribution of social payments is a key component of Azerbaijan's social welfare policy, aimed at ensuring the financial security of vulnerable populations. The State Social Protection Fund manages these processes through an automated electronic system, which enhances transparency and ensures that funds reach recipients across the Republic of Azerbaijan without delay. This systematic approach reflects the government's ongoing commitment to strengthening social protection mechanisms and improving the living standards of its citizens.
