In the first half of this year, the average monthly nominal salary of hired employees in Azerbaijan increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, reaching 1,174 manats.
This was reported by Operative Information Center-OMM, citing data from the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the report, the highest average monthly nominal wages were recorded in sectors such as the mining industry, financial and insurance activities, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as transportation and warehousing.
The State Statistical Committee regularly tracks these economic indicators to assess the standard of living and the overall health of the national labor market. These figures reflect the ongoing economic reforms and development strategies implemented in Azerbaijan to enhance the welfare of the population and ensure sustainable growth across various industries.
