Intermittent rain is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula throughout the day on May 19. According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, there is a possibility of short-term intensification and lightning in some suburban areas during the day.
The National Hydrometeorological Service informed Operative Information Center-OMM that fog is expected at night and in the morning. The southwest wind will be replaced by a northwest wind in the morning. The air temperature in Baku and the peninsula will be 15-18°C at night and 19-23°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 751 mm Hg to 755 mm Hg, while relative humidity will stand at 70-80%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, occasional precipitation is anticipated in various areas. There is a possibility of heavy rain, lightning, and hail in specific locations, with snow expected in high mountainous regions. A moderate west wind will occasionally strengthen in some districts. The temperature in the regions will be 13-18°C at night and 20-25°C during the day, while in the mountains, it will range from 5-10°C at night to 12-17°C during the day.
The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan, operating under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, regularly monitors and provides forecasts to ensure public safety and support various sectors of the economy, including agriculture and transport.
