Intermittent rain and unstable weather conditions are expected across Azerbaijan on April 21, according to the latest forecast. In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, occasional rain is anticipated, with potential for short-term intensification and thunderstorms in specific areas.

The Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service, reports that precipitation will gradually cease toward the evening. In the capital, temperatures will range between 10-12°C at night and 12-14°C during the day, with atmospheric pressure at 760 mm and relative humidity at 70-75%. In the regions of Azerbaijan, intense rainfall, lightning, and hail are expected, while mountainous areas may see snowfall. A moderate north-west wind in the capital is expected to soften by the afternoon, while western winds may strengthen occasionally in provincial areas.

Azerbaijan's climate varies significantly due to its diverse geography, ranging from semi-desert to alpine conditions. Spring weather in the South Caucasus is often characterized by rapid shifts in atmospheric pressure, leading to the localized thunderstorms and temperature fluctuations observed in this forecast. The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these patterns to provide timely updates for the agriculture, transport, and public safety sectors, ensuring the population is prepared for seasonal weather transitions.
