The State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects of the Republic of Azerbaijan has announced a recruitment competition for active-duty contract military service. This was reported to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the agency.
Male citizens of Azerbaijan who have completed their mandatory active military service and possess a higher, secondary-specialized, or full secondary education are eligible to participate in the selection process. Candidates must meet specific physical and age criteria: they must be under 26 years old, have a minimum height of 1.85 meters, and possess an athletic build. Additionally, candidates and their close relatives must have no prior criminal record.
The recruitment is specifically open to residents registered in the Garadagh district of Baku, as well as the Ujar, Goychay, Goranboy, Yevlax, Barda, Agdash, Siyazan, Shabran, and Khachmaz regions of Azerbaijan. Due to the specific nature of the duties, which involve physical and psychological stress as well as shift-based and overtime work, the health status, knowledge, and physical fitness levels of all participants will be rigorously tested. Preference will be given to candidates with higher education, proficiency in foreign languages, and computer literacy.
The State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects is a specialized government body responsible for ensuring the security of infrastructure vital to Azerbaijan's national interests, including energy pipelines and key administrative facilities. Such recruitment drives are part of the ongoing efforts to modernize the security apparatus and ensure that highly qualified personnel are tasked with protecting the nation's strategic assets.
