Azerbaijan’s inflation reaches 5.7% in eight months

Consumer prices in Azerbaijan increased by 5.7% in January-August this year compared with the same period last year.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports this, citing the State Statistics Committee.

Average annual inflation also stood at 5.7% in January-July.

Consumer price inflation is a key indicator used to track changes in the cost of goods and services purchased by households. The State Statistics Committee regularly publishes monthly and cumulative data on price trends in Azerbaijan.
