Short-term precipitation is expected in various regions of Azerbaijan on April 16, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be changeably cloudy and occasionally gloomy, but primarily rainless. However, there is a possibility of light rain in some areas during the day. A south-west wind is forecasted to be replaced by a north-east wind in the morning hours. The air temperature in the capital will range from 8-10°C at night to 15-18°C during the day, with atmospheric pressure at 767 mm Hg and relative humidity between 50-75%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, while conditions will be mostly dry, short-term rain, lightning, and hail are anticipated in certain areas during the day, with snow expected in mountainous territories. Fog may occur intermittently in some locations, accompanied by a moderate west wind. Temperatures in the regions are forecasted at 5-9°C at night and 16-21°C during the day, while in the mountains, temperatures will drop to 5-10°C frost at night and range from 1°C frost to 3°C heat during the day.
The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide timely updates for the public and relevant state agencies. Such seasonal weather fluctuations in April are characteristic of the region's transitional climate, often requiring caution for those traveling through mountainous passes or engaged in agricultural activities sensitive to hail and sudden temperature shifts.
