The military operations conducted by the United States and Israel against Iran may conclude by March 21, according to senior Iranian military officials.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM with reference to TASS, Rahim Safavi, the assistant and chief advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, shared these projections regarding the duration of the ongoing tensions.
"I believe that this war will end by the Novruz holiday. In my opinion, if we ensure the continuity of operations, the United States and Israel will not be able to withstand a long-term war and will not be able to continue it for an extended period," the ISNA agency quoted Safavi as saying.
The statement comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Novruz, which marks the Persian New Year and the arrival of spring, is a significant cultural and calendar milestone in the region, typically falling on March 20-21. Iranian officials have frequently emphasized their defensive capabilities and strategic depth in response to regional military pressures. This assessment by Safavi reflects Tehran's current stance on the sustainability of foreign military involvement in regional conflicts and the potential timeline for a de-escalation or conclusion of active hostilities.
