Tusk: Rusiyanın raket hücumu zamanı Polşanın hava sərhədi pozulub

Polish airspace was violated during a massive Russian missile strike targeting the western regions of Ukraine. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the incident via a post on the social media platform X.

Prime Minister Tusk stated that he has convened a meeting of a coordination group, which includes the Minister of Defense and the heads of relevant security services, to address the breach. "During Russia's massive missile attack on the western regions of Ukraine, Polish airspace was violated. In connection with this, I have summoned a coordination group with the participation of the Minister of Defense and relevant services. They have been working on the ground for several hours and are providing me with regular updates regarding the situation," the Prime Minister emphasized.

This incident highlights the ongoing security challenges faced by NATO member states bordering the conflict zone. Poland, which shares a long border with Ukraine, has been on high alert since the beginning of the full-scale war in February 2022. The country has frequently reported incidents involving stray missiles or drones entering its airspace, prompting Warsaw to bolster its air defense capabilities and increase military presence along its eastern flank to ensure national security and regional stability.
