The transit of goods from Russia to Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan continues, with the latest shipment successfully dispatched.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, a train consisting of 14 railcars carrying 470 tons of propane and 5 railcars carrying 339 tons of fertilizer departed today from the Bilajari station toward the Boyuk Kasik direction.

To date, the transit corridor through Azerbaijan has facilitated the transport of over 36,000 tons of grain, nearly 8,000 tons of fertilizer, 1,136 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, and 414 tons of anthracite from Russia to Armenia. Additionally, more than 14,000 tons of diesel fuel and nearly 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia.

This transit route serves as a significant logistical link in the region, reflecting the ongoing economic cooperation and infrastructure utilization within the South Caucasus. The use of Azerbaijani transport infrastructure for regional trade underscores the country's strategic role as a transit hub connecting neighboring markets.
