US President Donald Trump has announced the successful elimination of a high-ranking leader of the ISIS terrorist organization operating in Africa. The operation, which targeted Abu Bilal al-Minuki, was described as a complex and precisely executed mission aimed at neutralizing one of the most active threats on the continent.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the US President shared the details of the mission on his Truth Social platform. "This evening, at my direction, courageous American service members and the Nigerian Armed Forces flawlessly executed a carefully planned and extremely complex operation to remove the world's most active terrorist, Abu Bilal al-Minuki, from the battlefield," the White House leader stated. President Trump emphasized that US intelligence had been monitoring the terrorist's movements across Africa, noting that his removal significantly disrupts ISIS operations. He also expressed gratitude to the Nigerian government for its cooperation in the mission.
