Ağ Ev və ABŞ kəşfiyyatı arasında gərginlik: “CIA” və “FBI” etiraz edir

A significant disagreement has emerged between US intelligence agencies and the White House regarding the centralization of sensitive data.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the White House's initiative to consolidate information on foreign intelligence assets and individuals serving foreign interests into a single database has sparked strong opposition from leading US intelligence bodies. Reports indicate that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) has requested that the CIA, the FBI, and other agencies submit detailed information on individuals suspected of espionage, those under surveillance, and potential future assets.

Counter-intelligence officials have expressed deep concerns, warning that such a centralized database could compromise operational security, potentially exposing thousands of informants and jeopardizing covert operations. Experts suggest that creating such a comprehensive repository could lead to one of the most severe intelligence crises in US history, particularly if the data were to be compromised by leaks or cyberattacks. Much of this information is currently classified at the highest levels and restricted to a very limited number of personnel.

This friction occurs within the broader context of the relationship between the intelligence community and the executive branch. US President Donald Trump has historically maintained a complex relationship with intelligence agencies, with significant tensions previously arising during his first term, particularly regarding investigations into foreign interference and the operational conduct of the FBI.
