Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach 25°C on April 24, according to the latest weather forecast.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a statement regarding the upcoming weather conditions. In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be changeably cloudy and mostly dry, though morning fog may occur in certain areas. A north-westerly wind will prevail throughout the day.
In the capital, temperatures will range between 8-12°C at night and 15-19°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is recorded at 756 mm Hg, with relative humidity levels reaching 70-80% at night and 60-65% during the day. In the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather will remain largely rainless; however, intermittent rain, lightning, and hail are expected in some mountainous and foothill districts. High-altitude areas may see snowfall, while westerly winds are predicted to strengthen occasionally in various parts of the country.
The National Hydrometeorological Service, which operates under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, provides these regular updates to ensure public awareness of shifting climatic patterns. As Azerbaijan transitions further into the spring season, such temperature increases are typical for late April, reflecting the diverse climatic zones found across the Republic, from the semi-arid Absheron Peninsula to the alpine climates of the Greater and Lesser Caucasus mountains.
