This significant day holds great importance as a symbol of national unity, resilience, as well as the country's path toward sustainable development and progress," the message stated.
National Salvation Day, celebrated annually on June 15, marks a pivotal turning point in the modern history of Azerbaijan. It commemorates the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to political power in 1993 at the request of the people, a move that effectively ended the political instability and existential threats facing the newly independent nation at the time. Since then, the date has been observed as a public holiday, symbolizing the consolidation of statehood and the beginning of a new era of stability and development for the Republic of Azerbaijan.
