ABŞ və İran arasında razılaşmanın təfərrüatları məlum olub

The agreement reached between the United States and Iran contains several ambiguous provisions, according to recent reports.

As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing CNN, this approach is intended to foster a more favorable environment for upcoming technical negotiations.

Sources emphasize that the document is largely considered "political" in nature, suggesting that the focus should remain on the verbal agreements reached by the parties rather than the text of the document itself. The agreement reaffirms Iran's commitment not to produce nuclear weapons—a pledge that was also included in the 2015 nuclear deal signed during the Obama administration.

Beyond the official text, there are unofficial commitments made by Iran to the United States. According to the information, Tehran has expressed readiness to participate in the destruction of enriched nuclear materials in coordination with the IAEA.

The lifting of sanctions will be directly contingent upon the steps taken by Iran. Officials state that for Tehran to realize economic benefits, it must fully comply with conditions such as renouncing nuclear weapons, neutralizing enriched uranium, and ensuring non-interference with freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

It is worth noting that on June 19, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced the commencement of a new round of negotiations between the parties regarding the nuclear program and sanctions.

Background: The US-Iran nuclear relationship has been a focal point of international diplomacy for decades. Tensions have fluctuated significantly, particularly following the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018. Current efforts are aimed at stabilizing the region and preventing nuclear proliferation through renewed diplomatic channels.
