A group of employees from the State Housing Development Agency (MIDA) have been awarded the "Taraggi" (Progress) medal for their contributions to the field of housing development in Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Agency's establishment. The following employees were honored for their services in improving the housing conditions of citizens:
- Chingiz Sahib oglu Gadimov
- Elshad Panah oglu Mammadov
- Azer Aghababa oglu Salmanov
- Rizvan Hamid oglu Sharifov
- Kamala Mazahir gizi Shiriyeva
The State Housing Development Agency was established to provide affordable housing for the population and to promote modern architectural styles in urban construction across Azerbaijan. Over the past decade, MIDA has spearheaded numerous social housing projects in Baku and other regions, facilitating easier access to homeownership through preferential mortgage terms and transparent electronic selection processes. This award recognizes the agency's role in implementing the state's social policy and enhancing the living standards of the Republic's citizens.
