President Ilham Aliyev has concluded a one-on-one meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations, exploring avenues for strategic partnership, and addressing key regional security matters.

Earlier, President Ilham Aliyev arrived at the Villa Borsig residence in Berlin, where he was officially welcomed by the German President. During the visit, the Azerbaijani head of state signed the guest book at the residence.
Germany remains one of Azerbaijan's key partners in Europe, with significant cooperation spanning energy, trade, and political dialogue. Diplomatic relations between the two nations have historically focused on economic development and stability in the South Caucasus region, with Germany playing an active role in supporting European integration processes and regional security initiatives.
