The traditional "Last Bell" ceremonies across all state general education institutions in Azerbaijan are scheduled to take place on June 13. This event marks the official conclusion of the academic year for graduating students across the country.
The State Agency for Preschool and General Education provided this information to the Operative Information Center-OMM. According to the agency, specific instructions regulating the organization and conduct of the ceremonies have already been dispatched to educational facilities. School administrations are currently conducting awareness-raising discussions with students, teachers, and parents to ensure compliance with the established safety and organizational protocols.
The "Last Bell" is a major milestone in the Azerbaijani education system, symbolizing the transition of secondary school seniors into a new chapter of their lives. These ceremonies typically feature musical performances, speeches by educators, and the symbolic final ringing of the school bell. In line with national educational standards, the Ministry of Science and Education encourages schools to host these celebrations within their own premises to maintain a secure and festive environment for all participants.
