Due to unstable and windy weather conditions across Azerbaijan, the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has intensified safety protocols at the production sites of its Azneft Production Union (PU).

The company stated that high-risk operations have been restricted, and appropriate measures have been implemented within labor standards to ensure the protection of personnel health and safety. "Continuous briefings are being conducted across all operational areas, and the current situation remains under strict control," the statement noted.
SOCAR, as the national oil company of Azerbaijan, plays a pivotal role in the country's economy. Given the offshore nature of many of its operations in the Caspian Sea, the company maintains rigorous safety standards to mitigate risks associated with the region's frequently volatile maritime weather conditions.
