A spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Mohebbi, has stated that Iran's military capabilities have significantly strengthened in recent times.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Mohebbi made these remarks during a statement delivered on Tuesday.
Mohebbi noted that the Islamic Republic's military capacity has increased substantially compared to pre-conflict periods. He emphasized that should any new military confrontation occur, the nature of the combat would differ significantly from previous engagements.
"If the enemy returns to the military arena, the type of operations, the geography of the battlefield, and the weapons utilized will be different," the IRGC official asserted. He added that the Iranian Armed Forces have further elevated their state of readiness to counter potential threats.
The IRGC, a branch of the Iranian Armed Forces, plays a central role in the country's defense strategy and regional policy. Historically, the organization has frequently highlighted advancements in its missile technology, drone programs, and asymmetric warfare tactics as part of its deterrence strategy against perceived external threats in the Middle East.
