SEPAH: ABŞ Hörmüzdə məqsədinə çata bilmədi

A high-ranking commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has stated that despite mobilizing all its resources during and after a 40-day "war of aggression" against Iran, the United States has failed to achieve its objectives regarding the Strait of Hormuz.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that General Yadullah Javani, the IRGC's deputy commander for political affairs, made these remarks during a recent briefing.

The General noted that although the United States has mobilized its full strength in the confrontation against Iran, it will ultimately face failure. Javani emphasized that a primary challenge for US President Donald Trump is the issue of reopening the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that Washington has been unable to produce results despite its persistent efforts. He further added that US President Donald Trump is incapable of returning to the pre-February 28 status quo or altering the current geopolitical landscape.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world's most critical maritime chokepoints, serving as the primary transit route for approximately one-fifth of the world's total oil consumption. Located between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, the strait is a focal point of global energy security and regional geopolitical tension. Control over and access to these waters have historically been a central element of the strategic rivalry between Tehran and Washington, with Azerbaijan and other regional neighbors closely monitoring the stability of these vital international trade routes.
